I'm finally down to my last 35 images, the top five of each image. I have asked the public, same links as in my other post on public opinion, to vote for their favourite 2 versions of each images. This is so that I will able to decide on which version to print of at A2 for my exhibition, and which ones will be printed at A4.

Practice Workshop III
My original intention for this workshop was to project my images on acetate and to have the participants recreate the combination of images. However both the overhead projectors were faulty and so I could not project the images.
I printed out each of my edits to a rough A5 size on acetate and asked the participants to select their favourite images. Instead of projecting these images overlapping each other, I asked the participants to use them as references.. The images would then be painted onto the paper by the participants by hand or with the utensils provided. It wasn't hard to see that the participants preferred to be much more physically involved as they mainly used their hands.
A couple of the participants tried to save their work, but due to a lack of materials, failed.
They moved onto blank parts of the paper and they too began to tear.
After 15 minutes their artwork was complete and I wasn't surprised to find another set of handprints having been created in a workshop on Identity.

Immediately a few of the participants got involved with the paint and wiping it onto the paper with their hands.
They quickly began to cover half of the paper with a mixture of colours.
It wasn't long before they began flicking and wiping paint onto each other. Some of the participants were a lot less confident in getting involved.
The paper was thin and so with so much energy and the heaviness of the paint, the paper began to tear.

After I tidied up I took another photo to see if another would happen to their artwork, seeing as it had already torn numerous times. It had continued to fall down. I have left the paper as it is shown here and will check back on it in the morning.

Exhibition Space Layout Ideas
Today I spoke to Vicky about my finals, the main focus on the interactive piece and my workshop. She looked through some of my Photodynamism edits and said that it would be a shame to let all that work go to waste. Because my second lot of photograms were unsuccessful and my edits have a stronger link to my theme, it will be my edits that will be used in my interactive piece, as well as being transferred onto acetate and then projected for my workshop.
Vicky and I discussed more tactile ideas for my interactive piece than the sliding panels. My favourite of which was to print cropped parts of my edits onto Jenga pieces and have the public move one piece from the built tower to the empty plinth next to it, until the tower has moved to the second plinth and is reconstructed in a different order. Should one of the towers fall, I will photograph it to upload to the website I created for my workshop.
Handprint Stickers: Text
The cropping of the palm seemed to be most successful and so I inserted words from the second practice workshop (After having discussed this idea with my tutor Kellie) into the negative space to disguise them.
Some of these words need to be moved to disguise them better, as I was unsure of what it was I aiming to achieve through hiding them at the beginning. Now that I have more experience with the image and text, I will be able to disguise the others more successfully.
